Kurdish Designer Launches Luxury Fashion Collection Inspired by 'Woman, Life, Freedom'

A Kurdish woman is introducing a new design of Kurdish clothing that expresses "Woman, Life, Freedom", saying: "My goal is for women to wear clothing that is not only beautiful, but also holds a value, a story, and a message behind it."

Azhin Gardi, a Kurdish woman from Erbil, is the owner of Riviera Reverie, a luxury summer clothing brand. Her aim is for women to wear garments that are not just beautiful, but carry a value, a story, and a message.

Speaking about her brand, Azhin Gardi says: "Clothing is not just apparel; it must tell a story, evoke emotion, and leave a positive impact on the world."

She also notes: "At the core of the Riviera Reverie brand lies a specific artistic philosophy. On the clothing of this brand, instead of creating ordinary patterns and designs, authentic artworks are transformed into garments."

A few days ago, Azhin launched a new collection from her brand, inspired by the powerful words "Woman, Life, Freedom". In collaboration with Kurdish artists, she has woven identity, resilience, the strength of women, and hope into fashion and this new collection.

One of the key features of the brand is that it is eco-friendly rather than environmentally harmful, a quality certified by well-known international organisations such as OEKO-TEX and Lenzing.
