Oil Prices Recover Despite Forecast Weekly Losses

International oil prices rebounded on Friday, 6 November 2026, with both Brent crude and US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) recording gains amid growing concerns over global oil supplies.

Brent crude, the international benchmark, traded at approximately $100.08 per barrel, while WTI crude rose to around $91.72 per barrel.

The recovery followed reports of fresh attacks on oil tankers in the Middle East, raising concerns about potential disruptions to energy supplies.

Despite the latest gains, both benchmarks remained on course for significant weekly losses, with prices expected to record a decline of around 12% over the week.
