President Bafel and Hadi al-Amiri Stress Importance of National Dialogue to Resolve Issues

President Bafel and Hadi al-Amiri meet in Baghdad.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met with Hadi al-Amiri, head of the Fatah Alliance, in Baghdad.

During the meeting, which was attended by Dr Khalid Shwani, Supervisor of the Political Bureau in Baghdad, discussions focused on advancing national efforts to maintain ongoing coordination between all parties, recognised as a vital factor in safeguarding the country's stability.

Both sides stressed the importance of national dialogue and mutual understanding in resolving outstanding issues, strengthening trust among political factions and overcoming obstacles to achieve outcomes that serve the  public interest.
