PUK President Praises Iraqi President’s Efforts to Promote National Unity

PUK President meets Iraqi President in Baghdad.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met with Iraqi President Nizar Amedi in Baghdad to discuss the latest political and regional developments.

The meeting highlighted the importance of continued dialogue among national parties to resolve outstanding issues, strengthen security and stability, and improve living conditions for citizens.

The two sides also exchanged views on disputes between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government, stressing the need to address them in accordance with the Iraqi Constitution.

President Bafel commended President Amedi’s efforts to bring different perspectives closer together and help keep Iraq away from political tensions.
