PUK General Studies Centre Receives Academic Research Delegation

PUK General Studies Centre's meeting with the ACNS.
The General Studies Centre of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) received a high-level delegation from the Academic Centre for National Studies (ACNS), in Sulaymaniyah on Monday.
Yousif Goran, head of the General Studies Centre, received the delegation in the presence of Dr Omed Rafiq, President of the Centre for Future Research. The ACNS delegation included its president, vice president, and several members of its General Board and Board of Directors.
During the meeting, Goran congratulated the ACNS on its establishment and reaffirmed the PUK General Studies Centre’s support for academic and research institutions working across different fields and contributing to addressing gaps in scientific research.
He highlighted several areas and issues requiring further academic study, particularly those related to Kurdish society and the realities of the Kurdistan Region. Goran also expressed the centre’s readiness to develop and provide research projects and support the ACNS in conducting studies in these fields.
For its part, the ACNS delegation outlined the centre’s objectives, responsibilities and activities, and expressed its readiness to establish academic and research cooperation with the PUK General Studies Centre.
The delegation also thanked the General Studies Centre for its warm reception and valuable comments.
