PUK's Pire Holds Talks with Geneva Call Delegation

PUK's Saadi Ahmed Pire and the Geneva Call delegation.

Saadi Ahmed Pire, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Political Bureau, received a delegation from the Geneva Call organisation in Erbil on Tuesday.

The Geneva Call delegation included Atif Hamid, Director of Operations, Peshkaft Tariq, Director of Programmes, and Evin Baban, Director of Communications and Development.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen relations and expand joint cooperation between the institutions. They also emphasised the importance of supporting social and humanitarian activities and enhancing collaborative efforts to serve the community and promote the public interest.

The Geneva Call is a non-governmental organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. It works to improve the protection of civilians in armed conflict by promoting respect among armed groups and de facto or provisional authorities for international humanitarian norms and principles.
