Qubad Talabani Bids Farewell to Andrew Bizley

Kurdistan Region Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani met with British Consul General Andrew Bizley on Sunday to bid him farewell as he concludes his diplomatic mission in the Kurdistan Region.

In a post on his official Facebook page, Talabani praised Bizley's contribution to strengthening ties between the United Kingdom and the Kurdistan Region during his tenure.

"During his time as British Consul General in Kurdistan, Andrew Bizley played a significant role in enhancing relations between the UK and the Kurdistan Region," Talabani wrote on his Facebook account. "He supported us in many areas, particularly regional development and the establishment of the Raparin Development Agency."

Talabani said he had wished Bizley every success in his future assignment, adding: "We will not forget his support and services."
