PUK President Congratulates U.S. and Iran on Reaching Agreement

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), extended congratulations to both the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran on reaching  an agreement to end their war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz as a preliminary pact.

President Bafel's congratulatory message read:

We congratulate the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran on this historic agreement. We hope it will lead to lasting peace in the region.

This is a positive step toward reducing tensions and promoting stability in our region. From the start, we, as the PUK, have supported all efforts that advance peace, dialogue, and cooperation, and we will continue to do so.
