Sri Lankan President Congratulates President Amedi.

President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Anura Kumara Dissanayake, has sent a congratulatory message to President Nizar Amedi on the occasion of his assumption of the presidency.

In his message, President Dissanayake conveyed his warmest congratulations and wished President Amedi success in carrying out his duties. He also expressed his wishes for continued progress, prosperity, and well-being for the people of Iraq.

The Sri Lankan President affirmed that the strong relations between Iraq and Sri Lanka are founded on ties of friendship, shared values, and mutual respect. He further expressed hope that bilateral relations would continue to grow and strengthen in a manner that serves the common interests of the two friendly nations.
