Bafal Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Andrew Bizley, the British Consul General to the Kurdistan Region, in Dabashan.

During a meeting, the latest political, security, and economic developments in the region were discussed, and the peaceful resolution of issues was emphasised as crucial.

Regarding the formation of the Kurdistan Regional Government, President Bafel said that the PUK's demand is the people's demand: improving governance and achieving a fair and strong government capable of serving everyone without discrimination. He added that balance, partnership and inclusivity should form the foundation of working together.
