Kosrat Rasul Ali: PUK Revived the Revolution During the Darkest Times

Kosrat Rasul Ali has issued a message on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the founding of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), stating that the party revived the revolution during the days of despair and at the height of the Ba’ath regime's rule.

Rasul's message read:

I extend my congratulations to the heroic Peshmerga forces, veterans, families of the martyrs, political prisoners, disabled fighters, and all members and supporters of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of its establishment.

The PUK revived the revolution during the days of despair and at the height of the Ba’ath regime's rule, proving that hope can endure even in the darkest times. It sent a clear message that the struggle would continue as long as there was a Kurd, and that the Kurdish people would never abandon their legitimate rights.

For more than half a century, the PUK has continued its struggle in the mountains and the cities for freedom, justice, democracy, prosperity, and a dignified life for our nation, in pursuit of the aspirations of our people.

Once again, I congratulate the Kurdish people and all those who cherish Kurdistan on this significant occasion. The struggle continues, and it is important to preserve this spirit.
