President Bafel and Leader al-Hakim Meet in Baghdad, Stress Timely Formation of Iraqi Government

PUK President and Wisdom Movement Leader meet in Baghdad.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met with Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, leader of the National Wisdom Movement, in Baghdad.

The meeting, attended by Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, a member of the Political Bureau, focused on recent developments in Iraq and the wider region.

Both sides stressed the importance of forming the new Iraqi government within the constitutional deadline to promote greater stability and better serve the public.
