PUK President Marks Anniversaries of Qaladze Tragedy and Uprising

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), has commemorated the 52nd anniversary of the bombing of Qaladze and the University of Sulaymaniyah, alongside the 44th anniversary of the Qaladze uprising.

In his message, he paid tribute to the victims of the attacks, extending respect and solidarity to the families of the martyrs. He emphasised that remembering such tragedies endured by the Kurdish people should serve as a driving force to work collectively towards ensuring a dignified life for the families of the fallen and for all citizens.

He also highlighted the enduring sacrifices of the people of Pshdar and Bitwen, describing them as a lasting example of resilience and devotion. He stressed that they deserve full support and commitment to addressing their needs and serving their communities.
