PUK President Stresses Cooperation and Timely Government Formation in Baghdad

PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani met Dr Abdul Hussein al-Moussawi in Baghdad.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met in Baghdad with Dr Abdul Hussein al-Moussawi, head of the National Approach Alliance.

The meeting, attended by Dr Khalid Shwani, head of the PUK political bureau in Baghdad, highlighted the need for continued cooperation and coordination among all political actors to safeguard stability in the country.

Both sides also stressed the importance of forming the new Iraqi government within the constitutional timeframe, with a focus on serving citizens, improving public services, and advancing reconstruction efforts.
