PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani's meeting with British Ambassador Irfan Siddiq.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Irfan Siddiq, the British Ambassador to Iraq.

The meeting, attended by Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, Head of the PUK Relations Bureau, highlighted the significance of boosting cooperation within the framework of shared strategic objectives.

The meeting also touched on the resolution of outstanding issues between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government in Baghdad. President Bafel underlined the necessity of adhering to the agreement.

Regarding the formation of the new cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), President Bafel stated: “Our efforts are focused on forming a government that serves all the people of Kurdistan—one in which the PUK is a genuine partner.”
