Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, has extended his congratulations to the Yezidi community on the occasion of the Yazidi Jama Festival, also known as Cejna Jama or the Feast of the Assembly, reaffirming his support for their rights and legitimate demands.

"Happy Jama Festival to all our Yezidi brothers and sisters. We wish you a peaceful and joyful holiday," Talabani said in statement on social media.

"On this occasion, we once again reaffirm our support for the rights and legitimate demands of the Yezidis and will spare no effort in serving them and safeguarding their rights," he added.
