Egyptian Delegation Praises Mam Jalal's Legacy of Peace and Friendship

A high-level delegation of Egyptian politicians, intellectuals and writers visited the mausoleum of President Mam Jalal in Sulaymaniyah on Sunday, paying tribute to his legacy and his role in strengthening ties between the Kurdish and Egyptian peoples.
The delegation was accompanied by intellectual and politician Farid Asasard and Dr Yassin Raouf Rasoul, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) representative in Egypt.
The visitors were received by the Secretariat Bureau of President Mam Jalal, which welcomed the delegation before members laid a wreath at the mausoleum as a mark of respect and remembrance.
The delegation also signed the visitors' book, reflecting on President Mam Jalal's lifelong political and national struggle, his leadership of the Kurdish people, and his contributions to promoting peace, friendship and closer relations between the Kurdish and Egyptian peoples.
The Secretariat Bureau of President Mam Jalal expressed its gratitude to the delegation for the visit and their tribute, praising the historic bonds that Mam Jalal shared with the Egyptian people.
It added that his positions towards Egypt and other friendly nations had always been guided by wisdom and a deep understanding of politics and society.
