Kurdish woman Hero Mohtadi, Vice President and Director of Drake Property Management, in Ontario, Canada, has been recognised as one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women, joining a list of 100 remarkable women from across the country.
In a post on social media, Mohtadi said being recognised as one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women is an incredible honour.
"This recognition did not come easily, nor was anything handed to me. There were years of hard work, the “grind,” as we often call it but there was also something much deeper that kept me going: a genuine passion for what I do, rooted in helping people," she said.
"I think about my Kurdish heritage and community, my political advocacy, and a dream I have carried with me for most of my life, to one day see a free and independent Kurdistan," she added.
Mohtadi has also been appointed as Vice President and Director of Drake Property Management in Ontario, Canada.
Speaking to PUKMEDIA, Mohtadi said she had been appointed as one of the company’s senior executives after working with the construction and housing firm for 23 years.
She said she had previously made significant efforts to support the growth and development of Drake Property Management and its programmes.
“I have been appointed Vice President of the company, and I aim to intensify my efforts to contribute to its success and further development in the future,” Mohtadi said.
