Artifacts Discovered in Afrin District

Artifacts found in Aleppo.

Several artifacts have been discovered in the Bilbile subdistrict of Afrin, including a sculpture depicting a woman’s body, with the cooperation of the Afrin Regional Administration, the Aleppo Directorate of Archaeology and Museums and the Afrin Antiquities Office.

The artefacts were documented and transferred to the National Museum of Aleppo, where they were officially catalogued and added to the register of historical sculptures.

The measures form part of ongoing efforts to preserve archaeological heritage and protect the region’s historical and cultural legacy.
