President Bafel Calls For Political Unity During Meeting With Al-Hakim

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met with Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, leader of the National Wisdom Movement, in Baghdad.

During the meeting, attended by Dr Khalid Shwani, supervisor of the Political Bureau in Baghdad, the latest political, security, and economic developments at both national and regional levels were discussed. Both sides emphasised the need for continued constructive dialogue between political parties to safeguard security and strengthen the country's institutions.

President Bafel stressed the need to further serve the public and address outstanding issues, while ensuring efforts remain focused on preserving political stability and fostering consensus among political parties.
