PUK Congratulates KSDP on Its 50th Anniversary

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) has congratulated the Kurdistan Social Democratic Party (KSDP) on the 50th anniversary of its founding, reaffirming the importance of Kurdish unity and closer cooperation among the region's political forces.

In a statement issued by its Political Bureau, the PUK extended its congratulations to the leadership, members and supporters of the KSDP, expressing its best wishes for the party's continued success.

"On this anniversary, we hope that the spirit of our shared struggle will continue to inspire us, enabling all political parties, forces and movements in Kurdistan to unite their efforts in overcoming the difficult challenges facing the region. Through greater cooperation and solidarity, we can work together to address the political deadlock that has deepened the hardships endured by our people," the statement said.

Separately, a PUK delegation led by Salar Sarhad, Supervisor of the PUK's Kurdistani Relations, visited the Political Bureau of the KSDP to mark the occasion.

During the visit, the delegation delivered a message from PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani and the PUK Political Bureau to the party's leadership and members.
