PUK Delegation Stresses Unity During Meeting with KDP

A senior delegation from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Centre in Erbil visited the Kurdistan Democratic Party's (KDP) Organisational Bureau in the city on Sunday.

The delegation was led by Rebaz Berkoti, a member of the PUK Leadership Council and head of the party's Centre 3 in Erbil. He was accompanied by deputy heads of the centre and several senior party officials. They were received by Dr Pshtiwan Sadiq, head of the KDP Organisational Bureau in Erbil, along with members of the bureau.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the current political situation in the Kurdistan Region and stressed the importance of coordination, unity and joint action in serving the people of the Kurdistan Region.

Speaking during the visit, Berkoti described the visit as one aimed at strengthening unity and brotherhood between the two parties. He said greater support from the media would help advance their shared objectives.

For his part, Dr Sadiq said the KDP has a long-standing and transparent relationship with the PUK, adding that dialogue and cooperation between the two parties would continue.
