French Ambassador Visits Mam Jalal Talabani Mausoleum

French Ambassador to Iraq Patrick Durrell visited the mausoleum of the late President Mam Jalal Talabani on Tuesday, where he was received by Mohammed Saber, Head of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, along with members of President Mam Jalal’s Secretariat Bureau.

After laying a wreath at the mausoleum, Ambassador Durrell described the visit as a valuable opportunity. He expressed his pride and admiration for President Jalal Talabani’s legacy as a distinguished Kurdish leader and former President of Iraq, while reaffirming his deep appreciation for the historic ties between France and the Kurdish people.

The secretariat of President Mam Jalal, in turn, thanked Ambassador Durrell for his visit and expressed hope for continued progress in relations between France and the Kurdish people in support of the Kurdistan Region’s development.
