President Bafel’s meeting with Al-Arajix

Bafal Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Iraqi National Security Adviser Qasim al-Araji in Dabashan, Sulaymaniyah, in the presence of Mahmoud Sangawi.

In a meeting that was attended by Jalal Sheikh Naji, Head of the Protection and Information (Zanyari) Agency, and Hiwa Ahmed, Head of the Kurdistan Region Security Agency (Asayish), the latest security and military developments in Iraq were reviewed.

The discussions underscored the importance of continued coordination and cooperation between the security institutions of the Kurdistan Region and the federal government in addressing security challenges and threats.

President Bafal commended al-Araji’s role in preserving stability across Iraq, describing his efforts as dedicated service to the country driven by a strong sense of national responsibility.

Both sides also welcomed the historic agreement between the United States and Iran, expressing hope that it would contribute to greater stability throughout the region.
