Deputy PM Talabani Welcomes Nomination of PM Al-Zaidi to Form New Iraqi Government

Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Qubad Talabani, has extended his congratulations to Ali al-Zaidi on his nomination to form Iraq’s new government, wishing him success in assembling the ministerial cabinet.

He expressed hope that the incoming government would help Iraq navigate the current sensitive regional circumstances and strengthen stability across the country.

Talabani stressed that, in accordance with the Constitution and through close coordination between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal authorities, there is optimism regarding the future of Iraq’s political process. He further underscored the importance of resolving all outstanding issues between Baghdad and Erbil through dialogue and cooperation.
