PUK President Confirms Upcoming Signing of Agreement with New Generation Movement

President Bafel Jalal Talabani meets New Generation faction leader Srwa Abdulwahid.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met with a delegation from the New Generation Movement parliamentary bloc in Baghdad, where he was welcomed by the bloc's leader, Srwa Abdulwahid.

Talks focused on strengthening ties and enhancing coordination between the two sides.

President Bafel thanked the New Generation Movement for its cooperation with the PUK in addressing the presidency issue.

He also underscored the significance of the agreement between the two parties, noting that it is expected to be formally signed in the near future.
