Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Mohammed Samaan Agha, head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, at Mam’s House in Baghdad.

The meeting was also attended by Iraqi Justice Minister Khalid Shwani, where the discussions focused on the situation in Iraq and the wider region, with both sides underscoring the importance of keeping the country insulated from regional tensions and conflicts.

They also emphasised the need to complete constitutional procedures and to expedite the formation of a service-oriented national government capable of delivering greater stability, prosperity and peace for all citizens.
