Oil Prices.
On Thursday, 27 March 2025, global oil prices experienced modest increases.
Brent crude futures rose by 7 cents, reaching $73.86 per barrel by 0424 GMT. Similarly, U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude increased by 10 cents to $69.75 per barrel, following Brent's closing price of $73.79 per barrel on Wednesday.
This uptick in prices is influenced by concerns over supply constraints, including U.S. sanctions on Venezuelan oil buyers and proposed tariffs on auto imports. Traders continue to closely monitor global economic developments and supply dynamics, as market conditions remain sensitive to geopolitical tensions and trade policy impacts.
