During his meeting with British Ambassador Stephen Hitchen, Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani emphasized the importance of resolving any concerns of neighboring countries through peaceful and diplomatic means. He also stated that there is no justification for violating Iraqi and Kurdish sovereignty.

Both parties agreed that these strikes violate upon the sovereignty of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. They acknowledged that such actions do not provide a solution to the problems at hand, but instead contribute to further instability in the surrounding area.
Talabani emphasized the need for both governments to collaborate in order to put an end to the violation upon Iraq's and the Kurdistan Region's sovereignty. Furthermore, he advocated for the implementation of all necessary measures to address these issues through dialogue and diplomatic means.
